Drowning my sorrows

Well, it is 10:30 at night, and I am feeling a little stressed. Why? I don't know. Perhaps because it is Sunday night and tomorrow is Monday, and you know the rest, so I am doing the logical thing and drowning my sorrows in cookies and milk and writing on my blog.

Yesterday we had a super fun day. We went snowshoeing up to Stewart Falls. It was a beautiful sunny day and the snow was nice and crunchy (if snow can be nice when it is crunchy). Anyway, here are some pics.

Due to the crunchy snow, there weren't many acrobatics on this trip, but Joe did manage to squeeze in one flip.

The crew.

The unsuspecting.

Recent avalanche activity. Kind of freaky.

Well, is it?

A mostly frozen and spectacular Stewart Falls. If only we would have brought our crampons. . .
