Joe and I met in the library at Brigham Young University. As Joe puts it, I was studying and he was studying me. Okay whatever. I rejected his offer for a first date because I was headed out of town on a camping trip with my mountain biking class. He said that was the best rejection he had ever received, so he decided to be persistent. I'm glad that he didn't give up on getting that first date. He didn't have to work very hard for any of the rest.
We were married here in June 2005. Our little Magnolia (Maggie, Winky, the Wormy Girl, Maggie-pie) joined our family in April 2010. Jack joined us in July 2012 only two weeks after we moved our little family all the way across the county, but that is another story.
I keep this blog to try to preserve all those little joyful (and sometimes not) bits of life that would otherwise slip from my very scatterbrained head. I love taking pictures as a means of preserving memories 'cause they say a picture is worth a thousand words and I find that to be oh so true.
